Wow...That was just awesome!

3/3/15

Hi fam!!

And well this will be really brief because...I have been transfered!! Adios Tapachula!! Ya I am returning to Tuxtla for my last transfer. We will see what adventures are in store!
And well this week, super fast, we got to meet Elder Oaks! He came to the mission and we had a meeting just for the missionaries. It was super cool!! I shook his hand and he asked me where I was from and that he knew alpine and some taylors. I did not get to talk more because we were in a line. But it was super awesome!! One of the things he talked about was 'begin with the end in mind' which I believe I have talked about before, that the end is the temple and that is the goal for which we are working for with all our investigators. And then Elder Oaks asked us, 'As missionaries, '' the whole place was silent. then he said, ´marriage for time and all eternity.' .... I think the room got even quieter. Not what we expected! But it makes sense. The goal is the temple and that is where we are sealed. So that should be our goal too as missionaries. IT was super great. And he also scolded the elders and said they are only 1/2 a man until they get married. IT was hilarious!

And well that is all family!! Love you all so much!! Have a fantastic week and Happy Birthday AShley!!! Hope it is just great! Adios!

It Truly is Just Fantastic, the Gospel.

2/23/15

Hello family!!!

Well this week was good. We have one investigator. He is 13 years old and just a gem!! He really likes the church and he is just so willing to learn and my companion asked if he would like to serve a mission one day and he said yes but that he is a little scared. I would be too if I had just gone to church twice!! But he is great!!! And we are just searching like crazy for people who are going to receive our message. It truly is just fantastic, the gospel. I just love it and I love sharing it!

I was reading today in 2 nefi 9 and it is just awesome. That thanks to our savior Jesus Christ we do not have to be miserable like the devil. If it weren't for Christ that would happen. But no!! He came!! And He will come again!! and we have the promise of never ending happiness if we accept Him into our lives!! And it is just awesome.' I know He lives!! And I will follow faithfully. My heart I'll give to Him. I know that my Father loves me.!!'
It is just so true!!!! And well, that is about all for this week.

Oh! we had a mission activity with out presidente and we went to see some ruins and play sports and we watched meet the mormons!!! I loved it and casi casi cried! ha. It was great. Also we had a service project where we cleaned up a park. It was super hot but super good. And well those are the pictures. And also one of my companion and I eating lunch today. Delicious!! Love you all tons!!!

The Gospel Makes Us Super Happy!

2/16/15

Well hello there my dear fam!!!

I am really good!! ANd I am glad you are all doing well too! This week was better and we could find a lot of people that are wanting to hear our message so that was good. We are searching like crazy for escogidos. And we are just enjoying the time because I do not have a lot of time left! Ah! It kind of scares me to think that I will be home in 8 WEEKS!!
And something that I learned today that I really liked that I wrote in my study journal about 9 months ago. Quote, ´this is the way that life is meant to be lived - with the hand of God in all we do.´ If we just keep the commandments we will recieve all that the Father hath one day and the most richest and amazing blessings that will just give us the greatest joy and we cannot keep it all in! That is why we share the Gospel - because it makes us super happy!
I just love you all so much!!! ! I hope you all have such a fantastic week! And I will see you later!!

Merry Christmas and Happy Valentines...

He loves us so immensely

2/9/15

Hi!!

I do not have a lot of time because I had to play a little bit of catch up. And well this week was actually a little difficult but I learned more about the Savior and His love for us and I am just really grateful for that. Even though He was perfect it still hurt Him when people rejected Him and when He suffered also. I cannot believe how He was able to suffer so much pain. But He did it because He loves us so immensely. We still cannot understand how great His love is.
Well I gotta go!!

Love you all so much!!!

Just Keep Walking!

2/2/15

Hi family!!!

I am writing earlier today because we are going to go to Tuxtla again for a super consejo!!!! All the missionaries that are leaders are gonna go and it should be really awesome. I expect to learn a lot and also have some ideas that will help us become better leaders and help the missionaries that we are charge of more.
Well this week was good. The truth is that we walked a lot. And that is because a lot of people did not have time to receive us in their homes this week or they did not want to. And guess what! It´s okay!! I made up a song, I do not really remember it very well to tell you it but it ended with ´we´ll just keep walking!¨ and well this really is a truth for life. That sometimes things are not going to go as planned and we do not understand why but it is okay. We just keep walking forward and have faith in Christ that all will be well. So my family!! Just keep walking! The promises of the Lord are real and some will come soon and some won´t, but they will come!

And well, I am doing good. I really just like being a missionary. The Gospel has become so clear and so real to me and it just makes me grateful. I love you all so much!!! And I hope this week is just fantastic!!! See ya later!!!

What a wonderful promise!!

1/26/15

Well Hello my family!!!

I do not know if I told you all but we had transfers last week and my new companion is pretty awesome! She is from Mexico. She is hilarious and we spend most of the day laughing. This week was busy with searching for new people who want to hear the Gospel and it is amazing how the Lord has put people in our paths that want to know about the gospel. We just always have to keep searching. And it is kind of funny because lots of people this week were shocked that i could speak spanish and I was like Clearly! I am now mexican because the sun has tanned me up pretty good.
Well a funny story for this week that happened yesterday. We went to visit a member family and when we got to her house she told us to wait for a second while they restrained their dog so that it would not bug us and while we were waiting outside the door I said to the sister member ´nos gusta comer´ which means ´we like to eat´ when i was trying to say that her dog would like to eat us. And then I realized what I said and said o wait, ´su perro nos gusta comer´ which means ´we like to eat your dog´ and then my companion just started laughing. It was hilarious! And then I gave up trying to explain and just laughed. Sometime spanish justs like to leave. And everytime I think about it I just start laughing. too funny!!
I really love reading the scriptures and I am 1 nefi and it is so important the example that nefi gives us to always ask about revelation that our leaders of the church receive. We can truly know for ourselves and receive personal revelation if we seek diligently. What a wonderful promise!! I know that it is true.

Well I love you so much and I have to go!! Have a fantastic week!!! Adios!
