Hello!!!!!!!!!!!! It´s the last one!

Wow!! I just saw the photos of Karlie in casa and I cannot believe it!! It looks like a dream!!!! Take care of her because she might be a little lost these next few days if someone is not within 3 feet of her at all times!

And well, I cannot actually believe it. This is the last letter as a missionary and I just have to say Thanks!!! I am so grateful for this opportunity that I have had to grow immensely in the Gospel and also learn so much about myself and my Savior. And I am just grateful God answers prayers. He really lives! and His Son too!!! And one day we will be able to meet them face to face and I imagine there will be big hugs like we will experience here in just a few days!

My last week here went well. We really could feel the hand of God guiding us to people who want to know more about the Gospel. And if we go to church every week seeking answers and revelation we will definately receive it. It was a good week.

I love the Lord! and I love the Gospel! I have learned that I do not have to be perfect right now, but that I just need to keep working for that goal! Because it is possible if we have faith in Christ. It is just time to keep helping others come unto Christ but just in a different place. And cannot believe it has come already!! And well I guess I will see you all very soon. Love ya!

Glorious!

3/30/15

Hello my family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for all you letters!!!! They are just great!! And well I am doing good here! Just trying not to freak out. Mom and dad I think your prayers are being answered that the time goes by really fast because the weeks are just flying by!! I cannot believe it!! But, ya, enough of that.

This week was good!! We could find a few people have been able to see that the Gospel is really important for their lives, And we are still searching for more!! And I hope you have all seen the video 'because He lives' I have. And it gave me the urge to cry almost the whole day!! I know my Savior lives and that He loves me!!! He is just perfect and I just love Him. I was reading today in Mosiah 3 and I invite you all to read it because it talks about the first coming of Christ. The Nephites fell to the ground astounded for this grand opportunity to receive a remission of their sins and regresar and live with God. And just imagine the Second time... It will just be glorious!!! And if we can just make the decision one time to always follow Him no matter what were just going to be happy and live forever in our wonderful family! I just love it!!
And I love you all so much!! And I have to go... but I will see you soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love ya!

"Yes, you can do it!"

3/23/15

Hi family!!!

I am just so happy for all your letters!!! Thanks a bunch!! They are always so helpful!!
And well this week went well! We were able to help a lot of people who are converts to the Gospel and I love working with them!! They have such a love and gratitude for the Gospel and are not afraid to share it!! And also we have been helping a family that has not gone to church for a while and they came yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was really happy. Sometimes we just need to have someone reach out to us and say that 'yes you can do it'! That is probably one of the best phrases you could say to someone. I personally love it!!
And I know God answers prayer. He is always there and ready to help us.
And that is about it for this week family!! ! Love you all so much!! And we´ll see ya soon!!

God Answers Prayers!!

3/16/15

Hello family!!

I really do not have anytime this week!! But I am doing well!!
quick story!! This week we were walking in the street looking for people to teach and well they were not home. And then a young girl passed by and said you are the missionaries!!! We have been waiting for you!! Her family had just moved from a different place and did not know anything about where the church was and they needed some support and then they found us!! I just want you all to know that I know God answers prayers!! Sometimes super fast and others you have to wait for more than a year to receive the answer... but He always answers!!

I love you all so much!!

Keep walking!!

3/9/15

Hi Family!!

I really do not have a lot of time. But this week was a lot of learning in my new area. I am here in Tuxtla with Hna Grau. She is 30 years old. Pretty awesome!! She has about 5 months in the mission. And well I am in the biggest city and well we walk up and down one giant hill all day long. I cannot believe how long it is. 20 minutes of walking and you still have not reached the top! And I am on the other side of the city from where I started almost a year ago. How crazy!! The time has gone so fast!! And well we are just working hard to find people who want to hear the Gospel and this week will be a week of searching...and miracles!! And well we are just gonna keep walking!!

Another thing is that I have been studying about paciencia this week and I learned something new and pretty impactful. Being patient includes handling situations with calmness and hope. And stressing out about things means that we have lost a little patience....wow....I did not know that. But it makes sense!! And so I am working more with patience.

ANd well I am doing well! Thanks to everyone en serio for all the cards and packages!!! So awesome! Love you all! And we will see you in five weeks! adios!

A DAY OF SERVICE

Wow...That was just awesome!

3/3/15

Hi fam!!

And well this will be really brief because...I have been transfered!! Adios Tapachula!! Ya I am returning to Tuxtla for my last transfer. We will see what adventures are in store!
And well this week, super fast, we got to meet Elder Oaks! He came to the mission and we had a meeting just for the missionaries. It was super cool!! I shook his hand and he asked me where I was from and that he knew alpine and some taylors. I did not get to talk more because we were in a line. But it was super awesome!! One of the things he talked about was 'begin with the end in mind' which I believe I have talked about before, that the end is the temple and that is the goal for which we are working for with all our investigators. And then Elder Oaks asked us, 'As missionaries, '' the whole place was silent. then he said, ´marriage for time and all eternity.' .... I think the room got even quieter. Not what we expected! But it makes sense. The goal is the temple and that is where we are sealed. So that should be our goal too as missionaries. IT was super great. And he also scolded the elders and said they are only 1/2 a man until they get married. IT was hilarious!

And well that is all family!! Love you all so much!! Have a fantastic week and Happy Birthday AShley!!! Hope it is just great! Adios!

It Truly is Just Fantastic, the Gospel.

2/23/15

Hello family!!!

Well this week was good. We have one investigator. He is 13 years old and just a gem!! He really likes the church and he is just so willing to learn and my companion asked if he would like to serve a mission one day and he said yes but that he is a little scared. I would be too if I had just gone to church twice!! But he is great!!! And we are just searching like crazy for people who are going to receive our message. It truly is just fantastic, the gospel. I just love it and I love sharing it!

I was reading today in 2 nefi 9 and it is just awesome. That thanks to our savior Jesus Christ we do not have to be miserable like the devil. If it weren't for Christ that would happen. But no!! He came!! And He will come again!! and we have the promise of never ending happiness if we accept Him into our lives!! And it is just awesome.' I know He lives!! And I will follow faithfully. My heart I'll give to Him. I know that my Father loves me.!!'
It is just so true!!!! And well, that is about all for this week.

Oh! we had a mission activity with out presidente and we went to see some ruins and play sports and we watched meet the mormons!!! I loved it and casi casi cried! ha. It was great. Also we had a service project where we cleaned up a park. It was super hot but super good. And well those are the pictures. And also one of my companion and I eating lunch today. Delicious!! Love you all tons!!!

The Gospel Makes Us Super Happy!

2/16/15

Well hello there my dear fam!!!

I am really good!! ANd I am glad you are all doing well too! This week was better and we could find a lot of people that are wanting to hear our message so that was good. We are searching like crazy for escogidos. And we are just enjoying the time because I do not have a lot of time left! Ah! It kind of scares me to think that I will be home in 8 WEEKS!!
And something that I learned today that I really liked that I wrote in my study journal about 9 months ago. Quote, ´this is the way that life is meant to be lived - with the hand of God in all we do.´ If we just keep the commandments we will recieve all that the Father hath one day and the most richest and amazing blessings that will just give us the greatest joy and we cannot keep it all in! That is why we share the Gospel - because it makes us super happy!
I just love you all so much!!! ! I hope you all have such a fantastic week! And I will see you later!!

Merry Christmas and Happy Valentines...

He loves us so immensely

2/9/15

Hi!!

I do not have a lot of time because I had to play a little bit of catch up. And well this week was actually a little difficult but I learned more about the Savior and His love for us and I am just really grateful for that. Even though He was perfect it still hurt Him when people rejected Him and when He suffered also. I cannot believe how He was able to suffer so much pain. But He did it because He loves us so immensely. We still cannot understand how great His love is.
Well I gotta go!!

Love you all so much!!!

Just Keep Walking!

2/2/15

Hi family!!!

I am writing earlier today because we are going to go to Tuxtla again for a super consejo!!!! All the missionaries that are leaders are gonna go and it should be really awesome. I expect to learn a lot and also have some ideas that will help us become better leaders and help the missionaries that we are charge of more.
Well this week was good. The truth is that we walked a lot. And that is because a lot of people did not have time to receive us in their homes this week or they did not want to. And guess what! It´s okay!! I made up a song, I do not really remember it very well to tell you it but it ended with ´we´ll just keep walking!¨ and well this really is a truth for life. That sometimes things are not going to go as planned and we do not understand why but it is okay. We just keep walking forward and have faith in Christ that all will be well. So my family!! Just keep walking! The promises of the Lord are real and some will come soon and some won´t, but they will come!

And well, I am doing good. I really just like being a missionary. The Gospel has become so clear and so real to me and it just makes me grateful. I love you all so much!!! And I hope this week is just fantastic!!! See ya later!!!

Hermana Taylor :)

What a wonderful promise!!

1/26/15

Well Hello my family!!!

I do not know if I told you all but we had transfers last week and my new companion is pretty awesome! She is from Mexico. She is hilarious and we spend most of the day laughing. This week was busy with searching for new people who want to hear the Gospel and it is amazing how the Lord has put people in our paths that want to know about the gospel. We just always have to keep searching. And it is kind of funny because lots of people this week were shocked that i could speak spanish and I was like Clearly! I am now mexican because the sun has tanned me up pretty good.
Well a funny story for this week that happened yesterday. We went to visit a member family and when we got to her house she told us to wait for a second while they restrained their dog so that it would not bug us and while we were waiting outside the door I said to the sister member ´nos gusta comer´ which means ´we like to eat´ when i was trying to say that her dog would like to eat us. And then I realized what I said and said o wait, ´su perro nos gusta comer´ which means ´we like to eat your dog´ and then my companion just started laughing. It was hilarious! And then I gave up trying to explain and just laughed. Sometime spanish justs like to leave. And everytime I think about it I just start laughing. too funny!!
I really love reading the scriptures and I am 1 nefi and it is so important the example that nefi gives us to always ask about revelation that our leaders of the church receive. We can truly know for ourselves and receive personal revelation if we seek diligently. What a wonderful promise!! I know that it is true.

Well I love you so much and I have to go!! Have a fantastic week!!! Adios!

FANTASTIC!!!!

1/20/15

Hello fam!!

Well this week was a little crazy. Elder Valenzuela of the seventy came and taught us. It was really good. He helped us see a lot where we can be better. I liked it because it helped me reflect on the work I am doing and how can I do better.
Also, this week we went to Tuxtla for a training meeting for the missionaries who are leaders in the mission (it is a 7 hour bus ride to tuxtla) and we left early so we could go to the temple. And it was FANTASTIC!!!! It had been over a year since I had gone to the temple and I was just happy as a clam. I got to do baptisms for ancestors of my district leader and I helped hna avendaƱo, my companion with her Grandma! I got to do the endowment session for her Grandma and she, my companion, did it for her great grandma. How cool is that!! It really was such a neat experience. And I really had missed the temple.
And also I was reading today in 1 Nefi 5 and did you know that Lehi and Nefi di there family history too!! They found out that they were related to Joseph who was sold into egypt. Que padre!
And well, that is about all for this week. Oh! We had transfers. I am still here, but hna avendaƱo ya finished her mission. She left today and it was really sad. I am going to miss her. And so I am waiting for my new companion still. But it made me a little shocked because in about 12 1/2 weeks I will be heading home too......scary!! There is a lot to be done! Well I gotta go. but I love you tons family!!

I hope you have a fantastic week!

This week was a little crazy, but great!!!!

1/12/14

Hi Fam!!!!

This week was a little crazy but great!!!! We were able to pull off with muchas tender mercies from the Lord 2 baptisms!!! They are brothers 11 and 8 years old and super awesome. We saw a great miracle this week with their mom who is not a member. She told us the last week that she was okay with one son being baptized but the other was not ready yet in her eyes. This made us really sad BUT we kept praying. And then we passed by there house on Thursday and she came out where we were talking with her sons and asked if her one son was ready for his baptism and we said yes! And then she thought for a second and said, Is my other son ready? and we're like Yes!!!! We just need your permission and she said Okay, why not both at the same time? We did not expect that. We almost passed out and fell to the floor. It was so awesome!!! So we had a beautiful baptismal service for both of them this last saturday and their mom really liked it. And the boys are just so happy! So awesome!
Well that is about it for this week!!! Love you all so much!!! Have a fantastic week and be safe!!
Love Hermana Taylor

We had a car wash so that people could get to know the church like an open house while they waited for their car to be washed. It was good :)

This Magnificent Truth!

1/5/15

Hi fam!

Well this week was a bit crazy but I just want to share with you all something that I learned this week that was quite powerful for me. I was studying in Moroni and I cannot remember right now exactly what chapter o yeah chapter 7 and it says if we do not have faith in Christ then it is like He never performed the Atonement for us. Can you believe that?! What would life be without the Atonement of Christ! I do not like to think about that and that is why I am here to help people come to know this magnificent truth! and That is why faith is the first principle of the Gospel. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Because without it we really have nothing. And more with this... We can only do as much as we can do and then we have to let the Lord do His part. And if we really are trying to do all that we can to achieve a goal but if it does not happen for some reason, then the Lord knows why and we continue working with all we have got. That is really all we can do right? So I learned a little more this week to trust a little more in the Lord. He knows what is best.

Well I have got to go!! Love you all tons!! Que tengan una bonita semana!!!
LOVE Hermana Taylor

Happy Holidays!

12/27/14

Well my family, hello!! There is not much to tell this week except that we had a beautiful baptism of a little girl. Her whole family came and it was neat. And her mom who was inactive now has a lot of desires to return to church which is just awesome!

Well I have to go! Love you all so much!
Hermana Taylor

Keep moving forward!

12/22/14

Merry Merry Christmas Family!!!!!!!!

This week was a little crazy but we did it! We had a Christmas Dinner with my mission Presidente George. He read Isaias 53 that talks beautifully about Jesucristo. I encourage you all to read it. It was really awesome. We also had to perfom a talent but being in the mission you do not have that much time to prepare and so guess what idea came to my head... remember the talent show a few years back at Diane`s when the Austins took a sheet and put little people bodies on it and then stuck their heads through?? Well that is what my district did!! My companion Hna AvendaƱo and I were working handstitching santa clause mrs clause and two elves the whole week when we could find the time. It was quite hilarious!
Something that I learned this week that was really quite awesome for me was while I was reading in Ether when the brother of Jared and the family and friends were traveling to the promised land. The Lord literally pushed them forward with the waves and wind so that they could make it to the promise land. And do you know what I learned?! It does not matter that much what we did yesterday - God wants us to move forward. He is always wanting us to progress until we make it to the promised land or for us The Celestial Kingdom! Keep moving forward! We are going to have some difficult days but God does not want us to get stuck thinking about them all the time. Thanks to His son Jesus Christ that He sent to the world we can move forward, give all our burdens to Him, and forgive ourselves. Learn from the past and don´t make the same mistakes over and over. God knows we can do it and that is why He always wants us to endure. I love Him!! Well my family I gotta get going but I love you all so much!!

Love Love Love Love Love you all!!
Hermana Taylor

Always!

12/15/14

Hello family!!!!

This week was really good! I got a new companion hna AvendaƱo. This is her final tranfer!!! She only has a little bit more than one month in the mission! We are going to enjoy so much this final cambio!!
This week was really good. We are finding more people to teach that are reallly progressing. And I am almost out of time. But I just love you all so much!! I hope you are just loving the christmas season.
And something really quick that I learned this morning in my study. I started ether and it talks about the brother of jared and how jared asked his brother in this chapter 3 or 4 times to pray to God for the things that they needed. And I just liked that we can always always pray to God about anything. And the last verse in this chapter says that God answered all that the brother of jared wanted because he continually asked for a long time. so We should always keep praying and and praying so that God will answer us. Always!

Love you all tons!!!

Such a cool thing!

12/1/14

Hola Fam!!!

This week was really good! We had a baptism this week of two young girlies, They are so cute]!! It was really special. We have been working adn working and working with their family and it is amazing to see the changes.Their dad did not really want to give the permission but we kept working with him and explaining and now he is wanting to progress too. such a cool thing! And like Karlies letter said about humility. It is soooooooo important if you want to progress. Always just remember that you can always improve and that nothing is little in the sight of the Lord. He just wants us to be better and reach our potencial.
And well I am just happy to be here. Si, sometimes it is hard, but we just keep working for miracles. Because the power of the atonement is real and people can change, sometimes they just do not know how to.
Well I love you tons family!!! Keep enjoying every blessing God gives you and share it with others. There is always someone around us that we can make a little happier! Adios!!

The Gospel is True

11/24/14

Well my dear family!!

This week was great! We were able to work a lot! I was really tired last night and slept like a baby. It just seems like everyday I love even more that the gospel is true. Yesterday we visited a family that has had a lot of challenges. And the dad, his name is jorge, was one of the biggest. Before I got here he did not like the missionaries very much. And now he is listening to us and told us yesterday that he does believe that our message is true. Claro que si!!! The Lord has gratefully touched his heart and I am just so grateful to see this miracle. we still have a lot of work to do but it is the happiest work that I think anyone could ever be doing. Teaching people about a loving God who has a plan, a perfect plan, for all of His children and that His son is perfect and chose to suffer and die for us so that we would never have to be alone. I just love it!!

I just love you all! I hope your week is fantastic!!! Enjoy so much thanksgiving!
Hermana Taylor

Full of miracles!

11/17/14

Hi family!!!

This week was really great!!! We had two baptisms!! They are just precious!!! I am so happy for them!! It truly is one of the greatest blessings to be able to see the changes people can make and are willing to make to accept Christ and become a little better! They were golden and just have so much faith and willingness to follow the Lord. I just loved it!! It was so special and tender just to see them enter the waters of baptism!
Also the timing of God is perfect. because yesterday a member invited her neighbor to church. The second hour we talked about the word of wisdom. And after church we went to visit him in his house and he told us that he really liked the class and asked for the pamphlet that we have about the word of wisdom because he told us he has a problem with it and would like to get rid of this problem so that he can be totally good with God. Do you know we only hit that topic one time during the year? And that is the first time that he came to church! Kind of awesome! God really does know exactly what we need and when we need it. And so we are really excited to work with him.
Well that is all for this week! I love you all so much! I hope your week is fantastic!! And full of miracles! Look for them because they are always there! Hasta luego!
